Mommies for spring 2013

These are my two shetland ewes that I bred to Smiley before he left for his new home this fall.

At the top of the picture is Easter Day and Ebony is the black ewe at the bottom who is definitely showing a baby bump.

Both of these ewes are due in March.
Nigerian does-- Tinkerbelle, the spotted one, and Catalina both bred to Shiloh.
Nigora doe-- Ginger bred to Shiloh.
Nigerian doe-  Blossom currently in the breeding pen with my new buck Alamo.

I'm looking forward to some pretty babies in the spring :) !!!

Welcome Sunshine!

This is Sunshine, a 4 year old ewe that I just recently brought home.  She has Bramble Dixen in her bloodlines through her sires side SEVERAL generations back.  The people I got her from said she has spot genetics and she threw twin ewes this year.  I know that any rams out of her will most likely be scurred so I'm praying for healthy ewe(s) next spring.  If she has ram lambs then I can always sell them for pets after being wethered.
Doesn't she look like a lion with her full 'mane'.  I think she is just lovely!
